IWAKI MDW Pump

The world's largest class of fluoroplastic magnetic drive pumps

With the MDW series a new generation of mag. drive chemical pumps complete the line-up of our worldwide proven process pumps. The non-contact system in conjunction with the self-radiating construction enables the pump to better withstand difficult operating conditions enhancing safety and durability.

Highly chemically resistant

Fluoroplastic and fine ceramic wetted parts offer high resistance to virtually every industrial chemical, irrespective of concentration.

Robust structure

Use of the high strength ductile cast iron external armour is mandatory for heavy duty chemical process applications. High casing pressure resistance is achieved with a unique rear casing design preventing stress concentration and incorporating a triple-layer structure (PAT). A special metal shaft is used on the MDW to withstand high radial forces and allow con- tinuous extended operation even under harsh service conditions.

Back pullout system

The back pullout system allows easy maintenance and inspection without removing pipework. Integrated com- ponents and a sealed rear casing support structure enable motor re- moval safely without chemical leakage.

Application examples:

  • Chemical transfer between supply tanks and through chemical process equipment.
  • Chemical recirculation for filtration and heat exchange applications
  • Scrubber liquid recirculation
  • Replacements for conventional sealed pumps

Training

Onsite training

We offer customised training at your offices or onsite. Our goal is to maximise the efficiency for your engineering team during troubleshooting, minimising downtime. We concentrate on installation, product connectivity, and maintenance. For more information, please contact us and outline your team's specific needs.

Virtual training

In a fast-paced environment, we recognise the value of bite-sized training, especially when project teams are dispersed onsite or across different locations. To minimise time away from facilities, we provide intensive product training through video conferencing. For further details, please contact us and outline your team's specific needs.
