Iwaki APN Air Pump

IWAKI APN Pump

Iwaki’s chemical resistant air pumps are designed for system integration and can be used as a vacuum and a compressor

The suction side of these diaphragm air pumps can be used as a vacuum pump and the discharge side as a compressor. The compact and light construction of APN pumps cover a wide range of applications. Even system integration in various devices such as gas analysers, medical equipment, etc. is possible.

Draws in and supplies clean air

The motor and diaphragm of the pump are directly connected, preventing the ingress of oil, carbon and other contaminants. The design is well suited for systems supplying clean air.

High efficiency and long life time

APN pumps come with a high performance motor, special diaphragm and a special reinforced connection rod designed to prevent bearing wear. The vacuum operation, start up characteristics and durability of the pumps are all significantly improved.

Wide variety

Nearly each model is available as single and twin head types. To select the most suitable pump for your application, FKM, EPDM, NBR or PTFE are selectable for the diaphragm material.

Application examples

  • Medical & biochemical analysers
  • Medical equipment
  • Physics and Chemistry instruments
  • Industrial machines
