The Iwaki IX-C is a digitally controlled, direct-drive diaphragm metering pump combining precise chemical dosing with advanced monitoring and control. Designed for demanding automated dosing applications, it delivers high accuracy and energy-efficient operation while providing greater visibility of pump performance, helping operators maintain reliable dosing across applications from water treatment to chemical processing.
A wide turndown ratio
The IX-C offers a broad operating range, allowing accurate dosing across changing process demands. With two models covering 0.08 to 150 L/h, it can accommodate both low and higher flow requirements while helping reduce the need for multiple pump sizes.
Automatic control
The IX-C supports analogue, pulse, batch and interval batch operation, making it easy to integrate into automated dosing systems. Flow can be controlled in response to a 4–20 mA signal, paced from a flow meter or water meter, or programmed for preset and timed dosing via the pump keypad.
Energy-efficient operation
The IX-C uses a helical gear drive and spring-assist design to reduce motor load and power consumption. Compared with a conventional spring-return design, Iwaki reports a reduction in power consumption of approximately 70%, helping lower operating costs without compromising dosing performance.
Advanced flow monitoring
Integrated sensors monitor pump load in real time, enabling the IX-C to estimate discharge pressure and flow rate, automatically compensate for pressure fluctuations and detect gas entering the pump head. This gives operators greater visibility of dosing performance and helps identify changing conditions.
Diagnostics and maintenance support
The IX-C stores details of the 10 most recent error events and can issue maintenance notifications based on cumulative operating hours, helping simplify troubleshooting and support planned maintenance.
