The Pyxis PRL-100 is a handheld radar level sensor designed for quick, accurate liquid level measurement across multiple tanks and containers. Using W-band FMCW radar, it measures levels up to 15 metres with ±2 mm accuracy, including through suitable plastic tanks. NFC tank tags, Bluetooth configuration and LoRa communication help users link readings to specific containers, track chemical usage and support better inventory control in the field.
Check tank levels without contact with the liquid
The PRL-100 uses radar measurement to take non-contact level readings, making it well suited to corrosive, hazardous or difficult-to-access liquids where direct contact is undesirable.
Support faster chemical inventory checks across multiple containers
NFC tags allow each tank or container to be identified before measurement, helping users associate readings with the correct chemical, location and tank details.
Measure through suitable plastic tanks
The PRL-100 can measure through plastic materials such as PVC, PP and HDPE, provided the device is held vertically and the tank material is suitable. For metal tanks, the sensor must be installed into the tank using the 2 inch NPT thread because radar waves do not penetrate metal.
Track usage and remaining volume automatically
The sensor can calculate level, remaining volume, usage rate and estimated days remaining by referencing previous measurements from the same tank.
Export level data for reporting and customer records
Measurement logs are stored internally and can be exported via the uPyxis app as CSV files, supporting record keeping, customer reporting and inventory management.
