The Iwaki IX-D is a digitally controlled, direct-drive diaphragm metering pump designed for accurate and reliable chemical dosing. Covering flow rates from 0.2 to 300 L/h and pressures up to 1.0 MPa, the IX-D combines precise motor control with flexible automatic operation for a wide range of industrial applications, including water treatment and chemical processing.
A wide turndown ratio
Two IX-D models cover dosing from 0.2 to 300 L/h, with discharge pressures up to 1.0 MPa.
Automatic control
The IX-D can operate in analogue, pulse, batch and interval batch modes. In analogue mode, the pump responds to a 4–20 mA control signal from a controller. In pulse mode, it can be combined with a flow meter or contact-head water meter to provide a paced dose in proportion to the main flow. Batch and interval batch modes can be programmed via the keypad, allowing preset dosing quantities or timed dosing cycles to be initiated by a pulse signal.
Low-impact, constant injection
Adjustable discharge speed helps maintain a consistent injection rate while reducing pulsation, inertia forces and stress on discharge pipework.
Cavitation prevention
Adjustable suction speed helps reduce the risk of cavitation when handling viscous liquids or operating with restrictive suction conditions.
